In Memoriam

Ronald “Bean” William Cheney, 73, of Warren, Connecticut, passed away at home on May 2, 2021 in Warren, CT. He was born on April 12, 1948 in New Milford, CT to the late Kenneth “Dude” T. Cheney and the late Marion Jesson Cheney.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Cora Cheney Muñoz and husband German Muñoz Fortaneli of Litchfield, CT, son, Edward Cheney of Warren, CT, brother, Kenneth W. Cheney of Cornwall, CT, brother, William Cheney of Callaway, VA, sister, Susan Gobillot of Sharon, CT; sister, Karen Cheney of Cornwall, CT; sister, Joelene Teittinen and husband Robert Teittinen of Litchfield, CT; brother, Robert Cheney of Dover Plains, NY, grandson Christian Muñoz of Litchfield, CT and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Marcia Schultz

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that the Warren Volunteer Fire Company reports the passing of current Ambulance Chief Marcia Schultz. A 14 year member of the company, Marcia has served as Ambulance Chief for the last four years. As an EMS Instructor, she has touched the lives of many here in the Northwest corner. 

Marcia's dedication to community service, and ever present smile will be deeply missed.


"Many have asked if there was a particular charity or cause that was important to Marcia, or where they could send flowers. Since EMS was so important to her, we have set up an EMS training fund in her name with our Fire Company. Monies will be used to train new EMS responders, or for community CPR training.
